All poker runs begin with registration at 8 a.m. with rides beginning at 11 a.m. The entrance fee is $15.00 per rider and $5.00 per passenger. Everyone must register and helmets must be worn while riding on the Poker Run. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. Registering for this event does not exempt you from any of the laws. Drinking alcohol while riding is prohibited by state law. The Poker Run will be held on Rt. 153 between Houtzdale and Viola and is approximately 25 miles long. All rides will be held rain or shine. All riders must be back by 5:00 p.m. to draw their last chip.
From Altoona-Bedford-Maryland
Take I-99 North to Tyrone Exit
Follow Rt. 453 North for approx. 15 miles to Rt. 153 North
Turn Right onto Rt. 153 and watch for signs.
From Harrisburg-York-New Jersey
Take Rt. 322 West to Philipsburg, PA
Take Rt. 53 South to Houtzdale
Turn Left onto Rt. 153 South and watch for signs.
From Pittsburgh
Take Rt. 22 East to I-99 North
Take I-99 North to Tyrone Exit
Follow Rt. 453 North for approx. 15 miles to Rt. 153 North
Turn Right onto Rt. 153 and watch for signs.
From Western PA-Ohio
Take I-80 East to Exit 120
Follow Rt. 879 to Houtzdale Exit
Follow Rt. 153 South for approx. 20 miles and watch for signs
(Exit 120 has motels/food/gas/shopping)
From Eastern PA-New York-New Jersey
Take I-80 West to Exit 120
Follow Rt. 879 to Houtzdale Exit
Follow Rt. 153 South for approx. 20 miles and watch for signs.
